As this poses as a Steak House, I thought it best to order the New York Steak...so glad I did. First off the aroma of my plate made it to the table before my meal, served by a very friendly server, who made every effort to make my dining experience a lovely evening out. Walking in after the evening rush, I so appreciated that the staff had no issue in showing me a table. I rarely order Steak, mostly because as a born and raised Alberta Farm Girl, I am pretty particular about my steaks, thinking no one can surpass one I prepare and cook at home. The Something Else Restaurant sure left me pleasantly impressed, prepared, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The asparagus, corn, and baked potatoes were scrumptious as well. What a nice setting to bring friends, family, or that special someone to. P.S. The raspberry lemonade is worth trying as well. I eat here every time I'm in Jasper and always have an amazing experience. The food is excellent and the staff are polite and friendly. This time was no exception. We enjoyed it so much we ate here two days in a row. If you're looking for excellent Greek food and a fun experience in Jasper Something Else Restaurant will not disappoint.
Was hesitant to go in as it didn’t’ ‘look’ like a steak house. Glad we did. Service was exceptional. New York strip was fantastic. I had easily one of the best burgers in my travels. Vegetables were very good. Great job!
We went there on Thursday night with 10 dollars off steak entrees. We ordered ribeye steak which is delicious. It was much better than the ones I had in Banff at Maple Leaf, Grizzly House and Bison. Highly recommend. Prices are very reasonable.
Pulled into Jasper for lunch, intended to go to another nearby chain restaurant but happened to find a parking spot across the street. Gave it a try after a quick menu review. As it was only myself and two boys we ordered the pizza. It was pretty quick to arrive, and very tasty. Prices and service were good, bill was barely more than if we had gone fast food. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Something Else Restaurant was our VERY FAVORITE meal of our entire Canadian vacation! This restaurant has it all: exceptional quality food, great beverage choices, and service with a smile. Our group tried the spanakopita, homemade spaghetti, jambalaya, and steak. While it was all exceptional, I’m going to save you some research and tell you the BEST thing to order. This is the place to splurge on the 12oz rib eye steak with sauteed mushrooms on top. Oh, my stars?!?! I’m not even a huge fan of steak and this steak was the best ever!! Everyone in our group agreed and we even came back a second time on the last day of our trip. Even the second time, the steak was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. AMAZING! THIS is the place to go for a great dinner in Jasper!
What a pleasant discovery in town. I wasn't sure what to expect as it doesn't really look so inviting from outside. But the staff was warm and welcoming which is not common in Jasper, and when the food came so fast and so yummy i was very happy i landed here for my dinner after a long eventful day in nature. The appetizer, the main and the dessert, were all great. I would suggest for the chef to have a lighter dessert version, like tiramisu or molten chocolate . Happy to help such cute family biz that takes care of their staff, their guests without being greedy for your pockets.
